Our Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies betbeast-pokies.com uses, why each one exists, how long it stays on your device and how you can switch any of it off. We launched in 2023 and have kept this policy deliberately short and free of legal jargon.
What Cookies Actually Are
A cookie is a small text file that our site places on your device when you visit. It stores a snippet of data, often just a random ID, that our servers read back on your next visit. That is how we remember things like your login session or your preferred language without asking you twice.
Cookies are not programs. They cannot read files off your computer or install anything. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do comparable jobs, and everything in this policy applies to them too.
Cookies We Set on You
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working. Without them you could not log in, your balance would not display correctly and our security layer could not protect your account from session hijacking. They need no consent because the site cannot function without them.
Functional
Functional cookies remember your choices: your selected language, your currency display and whether you have dismissed our cookie banner. They are convenient rather than essential, so we ask before setting them.
Analytics
We use analytics cookies to understand, in aggregate, which pages load slowly, where players drop off during sign-up and which games get opened most. The data is anonymised and aggregated; we cannot tie it back to your name or your betting history.
Marketing
Marketing cookies let us show Betbeast Casino ads to people who have already visited us, a practice called retargeting. They also limit how often you see the same promotion. If you decline them, the site works fully; you simply see fewer ads from us elsewhere.
| Category | Example names | Purpose | Opt-out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | beast_session, beast_auth, beast_csrf | Login, balance, security | No, site requires them |
| Functional | beast_lang, beast_currency, beast_banner | Remember preferences | Yes, via banner or browser |
| Analytics | _ga, _gid | Aggregated traffic data | Yes, via banner or browser |
| Marketing | beast_ads, fr, _fbp | Retargeting and ad frequency | Yes, via banner or browser |
Third Party Cookies
Some cookies on our pages are set by partners whose services we embed, not by us directly. Three categories of partner do this: analytics providers who measure site performance, advertising networks that run our promotional campaigns, and payment providers whose secure frames handle your PayID, card or crypto deposits and withdrawals.
Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy, which we link in our footer. We do not permit third parties to sell data collected through our site, and any partner cookie beyond the strictly necessary ones stays switched off until you consent.
Take Control of Cookies
On our site
When you first land on betbeast-pokies.com, our banner lets you accept all cookies or reject everything except the strictly necessary set. You can reopen that choice any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer; changes apply from your next page load.
In your browser
Every major browser can block or delete cookies through its settings menu.
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, where you can block all cookies
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
What happens if you block
Blocking necessary cookies will break login and payments, so we advise against that. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies has no effect on play. Blocking functional cookies means the site forgets your language and currency each visit, which is mildly annoying but entirely your call.
How Long We Keep Them
Every cookie we set has an expiry. Session cookies vanish the moment you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a fixed period, after which your device deletes them automatically. Here is the full breakdown.
| Category | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Session and security | Until you close your browser | Session |
| Login remember-me | 30 days | Persistent |
| Language and currency | 90 days | Persistent |
| Cookie banner choice | 365 days | Persistent |
| Analytics | 90 days for IDs, 24 hours for short metrics | Persistent |
| Marketing and retargeting | 90 days | Persistent |
Changes to This Policy
When we add, remove or repurpose a cookie category, we update this page and change the version date at the top. If a change affects your choices in a material way, we show our cookie banner again so you can review the new setup. Questions about any of this? Email [email protected] or use our 24/7 live chat and ask for the privacy team.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to accept cookies to play at Betbeast Casino?
No. You can decline everything except strictly necessary cookies, which handle login and security. Playing, depositing and withdrawing all work with analytics and marketing cookies switched off.
Can I change my cookie choice later?
Yes. Click "Cookie settings" in the site footer at any time to reopen the consent banner and adjust your preferences.
Do you use cookies to track my gambling?
Analytics cookies show us aggregated behaviour only, such as which pages are slow. We never use cookie data to monitor your individual betting or to target you based on losses.
Will deleting cookies log me out?
Yes, deleting session and login cookies logs you out and clears your remembered preferences. Your account, balance and history stay untouched on our servers.
